Living Now
There's So Much More...

Today, I am...

Reading . . . The Life of Edna St. Vincent Millay (brilliant) and Following Atticus by Tom Ryan-if you have a pet (especially a dog) you will love this book

Knitting . . . Chicane (of course)

Listening to. . . my favorite (community) radio station KRCL and John Florenceā€™s Acoustic Sunrise

Thinking about . . . what it will be like to have a new refrigerator(today!)

Dreading . . . Quill (although I truly do want to finish it)

Planning . . . to knit with Cookie's handspun (red!)

Excited about . . . SPRING!

Drinking . . . my morning tea

Itching to . . . go Microspike hiking

Needing to . . . clean the pantry

Organizing . . . the patio

Delighted by. . . Carole! She can give you the deets. Isn't it pretty?! I LOVE IT!

Carole was right. That shawlette was made for you! Beautiful.

Margene, what a beautiful picture of you and the shawl Carole made.

Sounds like a lot of good things going on for you today. The shawl looks fantastic and that picture of you is wonderful. Thanks so much for posting it!

It looks fantastic on you, Margene!

It looks really good on you!

I've said it before, but it bares repeating. Absolutely gorgeous. It sounds like you're having a pretty good day so far.

You look perfectly radiant in it! Beeutiful!

Sounds like a very busy day!
Carole's shawl is wonderful.

I saw the picture of you on Carole's blog, and I just had to come by and tell you how awesome it looks on you! Beautiful picture of you (you wear your shawls so well), and beautiful knitting job by Carole!

The shawl is gorgeous and it is perfect for you! :)

Oh, such a lovely giftie!

Today I started making a coconut cake, did a bit of housekeeping and laundry, and a wee bit of knitting. xo

Such a wonderful list. Edna St. Vincent Milay is the BEST. I love The Ballad of the Harp Weaver. Her house in NYC is one of the skinniest houses I have ever seen. If you were to stand in the middle of the house with your arms outstretched - you could *almost* lean a little to the left and then a little to the right and touch each end of the house!

Beautiful! Wishing you a great weekend.

That shawl is just more beautiful everytime I see it, and it especially suits you. I love how the colors just float in the grey.

There you are! :D Slightly biased, but loving your hair. Looking forward to seeing what you do with that yarn. xo

It is gorgeous and I think the dark color is stunning

Wow!!! You look amazing!! Fabulous shawl!!

You look lovely in that shawl!

What a soothing post, Margene. Your day sounds terrific (sans pantry!.
