Hearts to You

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kind words and good wishes. Your comments about my life and blog humble me and give me the feeling that what I'm doing is worthwhile.  My posting may be inconsistent for awhile, but I will post when I can.  Thank you, thank you, thank you. You fill my heart with your love and kindness.

The heart shape has always seemed like a whimsy, but it now has special meaning for me.  The two blue pieces above are from my tiny collection of keepsake hearts.  The lapis lazuli/silver pin was purchased when I wore jewelry more than I do now (a long time ago) and the crystal heart was a recent gift from my dear friend Shelley.

Because of all your wonderful book suggestions my reading list grew longer than you can imagine. Oh my, so many of you share my taste in books. On my sidebar is a list of books I've read this year and on my about page (scroll waaay down) you'll find last years list.  The Help was suggested more often in the comments than any other book and, if you haven't read it, I highly recommend it, too.

Now, onto the winners!

Kelly-AnnRavelryredyarnball is the winner of the Malabrigo Sock

Penny is the winner of the Treasure Ball

Cindy in Happy Valley is the winner of the Sublime Kid Mohair

Karen is the winner of the Manos Silk

Thank you each and everyone of you for commenting!

Margene - Happy Anniversary. I've enjoyed reading your blog these past 6 years. I understand what you're saying about blogging though. I wonder if I'm spending too much time there myself. BTW - my favorite book of all is The Art of Racing in the Rain.

Congrats to the winners and to you, Margene! I'm glad you will continue blogging. Regularity doesn't really matter much. Just so's you do it!!!!!

What a great way to improve your reading list! You have my heart, you know.

Those blue hearts are just stunning! :-)

The Help keeps putting itself in my line of vision. Some books are better for the eyes than the ears. In what format to you recommend The Help? Happy week, Margene!

Congrats to the winners!

Those blue hearts are lovely.

Happy blogiversary, Margene! You are always a bright spot in my google reader. :)

Happy Blogiversary!! I'm sorry I missed your contest but I'm happy I'm able to be on time with the happy wishes! ;o) It's been wonderful getting to know you better over the years. :o)

Happy Blogiversary! Congratulations to the winners. I love those blue hearts. Happy Blue Monday.

Oh you collect hearts too! Another thing we share.
I love your blue ones. I will have to take a photo of some of mine especially my blue one!:)
I am happy you are going to continue blogging!

Happy Blogiversary. I have enjoyed your blog and getting to "know" you. It has been fun to see how small the world is, like the fact that your surgeon was John Doughty, who also cared for my father-in-law here in Baltimore. Congratulations to the winners of your contest. THey have won some beautiful prizes.

Hearts to you, too!

And you know..the older I get the more attached I am to the whimsey of the heart.

One really can't have too many books on one's book list...

What lovely true-blue hearts. Just like yours. I had a little crochet deadline, so I missed your contest. Congrats to the winners, and congrats to you on six years of blogging. I just finished four; you are way ahead of me, not that this is news.

Happy Bloggy Birthday! Thank you for blogging, and I hope this seventh year brings much joy to you.

I love the blue hearts! And I love your Blue Monday posts. And I have been so busy knitting up my Ravelympic stuff that I totally missed a contest!? Oh well, I really don't need to add to the stash anyway. mwah.

What beautiful blue hearts!

Happy Blogiversary - and what gorgeous hearts!!! They certainly go with your Blue theme, too!
Congrats to the winners!

Thanks so much Margene! Love the blue hearts.
