One Lucky Grrl!!
What? No Socks!?

Fabulous!

Utah has the motto 'Greatest Snow on Earth' and it is true because of the dry climate.  Our snow usually has little water content and creates an awesome powder that is soft and delightful to skiers and boarders.  So, when the socks went dancing in the snow at 9,000', they barely got wet.

Prove It All Night socks playing in the pooowwdderrrrrful snow of Utah.

Both the sock yarn, Socks That Rock, and the pattern, Fancy Silk Socks, are fabulous.  The yarn knits as smooth as silk and the pattern was fun, entertaining and beautiful. The fit and feel are fabulous.

Ooh, that colorway is gorgeous! I think me needs some.

Love the pictures of the socks in the snow (plus I didn't know that about Utah's snow)...I'm off to wish Nina a happy birthday. Have a nice day :)

Great socks and photo. It's very humid here, so when it does snow (last real snow, 1989), it's very full of water.

Beautiful!

dry snow? send some over, please!

love the socks, margene! happy bday to your sis!

I love those pictures! And the socks are gorgeous, too!

You have the best photo-shoots! The socks rock!

I love the pictures. Great socks, beautiful colorway.

Gorgeous - I loved that pattern, and your snow picture just makes it perfect.

Great pattern - I love the scalloped cuff. Very pretty color too. The photos are so fun ;)

Awesome socks, dude! Love the yarn, love the pattern. Dry snow? What's that?

Beautiful socks...now I know just the right pattern for my next pair!

Happy birthday to your sister - hope she has a GREAT day!!

Oh Margene - they ARE beautiful! I've been a little scared to see the colorway knit up - you know - would it look as good in real life as it does in my mind, but it DOES! It really does! Thank you so much. I'm so glad you love the socks.

Great socks, great pic!

I keep waiting for some snow here for a FO shot of my own, but no luck. I'm not really complaining of course....

Great socks, Margene!

Beautiful yarn and sock pattern. And I have that book too, since you inspired me to buy it several months ago. I haven't made anything out of it yet - but maybe I will. Chelle

Such a pretty colorway! Very nicely done!

The socks look great Margene! And the colorway is perfect--no wonder Cara hoards the stuff. Thanks for the snow shots. I have missed the snow something fierce since moving down here and I always get my snow vicariously through your blog so thanks thanks thanks!

Is there ANYTHING that isn't better in Utah? ;)

Yummy socks - and I have snow envy!

Wow, lovely snowbunny shot!

Pretty, pretty, PRETTY!! Happy Birthday to Neena, too. :)

Very nice socks! Love the color and the pattern. You'd be wet blocking those babies if you were in New England snow thats for sure.
