so, we did it, too. The carport garden is planted with a few tiny shoots from Smith's under-the-stairway greenhouse. Spinach, radishes, a variety of lettuce and his big gamble, romanesco.
The warmth of the last week may have added to garden fever, but it's not too early for to plant peas, broccoli, spinach, beets, and other root veggies, which Smith did in our community garden plot. Gardner's always gamble, often with big rewards, so we went for it!

And, your rewards will be plentiful!!! I love spring!!!

I have never heard of an under the stairs planting area. How clever, just right for those shade loving veggies!

Spring break is next week and we're rolling our gardening dice as well. This weekend we experienced some cold northern winds, so I hope we're not jumping in too soon.

So. . . so. . . so. . . . ENVIOUS. It's snowing/icing/ICK here. And more to come. I want to plant! Oh, well. I'll just enjoy watching your gamble pay off! :-)

Lucky you, to get crocus - I think the rabbits are munching mine as fast as they poke up. The seedlings are so cute :-)

We always do, you are right. Snow is swirling outside my window right now. 8+ inches on the ground, and no vertical in sight. Figures.
