It's probably good we don't have cable, or I'd spend way too much time watching the Food Network.

The Foodnetwork is one of my favorite channels. Ina Garten is so comforting, and I'd follow Bobby Flay anywhere (and I'm a vegetarian!).
It's been very nice to visit both you and Carole seven days a week, and I confess, I will miss my morning visits with the close of November.

I know that I am one of the ones that seems to be disappearing, but I promise, I am here. And I'm one of those friends that can pick up right where we left off as if no time has passed. Love you! (love your feet, grrrl!)

I love the way you put #19. I didn't have a tv when Neal and I got together, and while I would prefer not having one, you've said it perfectly: I LOVE having Neal in my life more than I love not having a tv! Thanks for sharing your beautiful way of looking at the world!

I love the food network! Yum!! Watching it right now.

Yay for you for hanging in there with NaBloPoMo. You are a better woman than me!

I completely agree with you about this season of Survivor! Terrible! My boy is crossing your state today - North Rim to Lander, WY - it's his favorite state of all - I hope it's beautiful day in Utah! Enjoy the rest of the weekend Margene!

Many of the newer boom boxes have an input jack where you can plug in your iPod. You may need to buy a male-male cord to connect them but that's only a few bucks. This will give you a wider choice than just purpose-built iPod docks, which can be overly pricey.

Thank you for the gorgeous photos of *your* mountain differing light and weather. Every one of them was stunning!

I thought about a tv in my newly organized craft room but decided against it. I can always listen to a book on my iPhone or I can watch a dvd on my laptop if I want to pass the time while spinning. I think it's really interesting that your tastes changed after surgery. I wonder if this is a typical experience.

Yay for Keens! :)

I don't know if it's not commenting so much as Bloglandia changes all the time, and sometimes people just vanish. :(

I could definitely live without a tv. . . but it's kind of nice once in a while. (I go days without turning it on, and hardly ever watch anything when it's "on" -- I record and watch when I want to watch.) I just bought some new Keen snowboots. Can't wait to wear 'em, although I don't mind if the snow holds off for a little while. It's been fun learning 20 things about you! :-)

Yeah, Survivor sucks. The characters are characterless. Gotta vote Nay's sorry a** off. She is just plain mean.

well, I for one am grateful to you for bothering to blog every day this month. I started reading for the knitting and spinning, but I've loved the chickens and the rehab after surgery too. I have read you way more than I've ever commented, and getting a reply is always a little shock to me. (So don't feel guilty about not acknowledging comments.) Love your shoes!

I just added Zeneedle to my Google Reader subscription, since I keep popping over from Stepping Away from the Edge. Love the blog! Thanks for sharing.

You've done a terrific NaBloPoMo job, Margene. I, too, have enjoyed your daily posts -- even if it's just to share a glimpse of your mountains or the chickengrrls.

We have a DVR, and set it to record our favorite series. That way, we can watch tv together on our preferred time. Aside from what we record, there isn't a whole lot out there to tempt me. It's all just noise.

I admire you for posting every day, but understand the pressure it puts on you. The end is in sight, but I've enjoyed your daily posts this month. And, don't worry. I'll check on you if I feel the need for a comment;-D

Yes Survivor does suck this season. I watch it because my husband watches it (sound familiar?) and some seasons it takes me a while to warm to the characters. It has never taken this long.

And I love my Keen shoes too. But I have gotten so much grief about them from my closest friend that I never wear them any more. She has a thing about feet - thinks hers are too big and wants little feet like mine - so when I wear clompy shoes she can barely stand it. Now I can barely put them on - suddenly I feel like I'm wearing clown shoes. But your photos reminded me that I think they're cute. And they're definitely comfy. I'm gonna go knit myself some socks. (That'll really make her eyes roll! She's not a knitter.) (=

Thanks for all the lovely posts. I admire you for posting all November. I haven't posted on my own blog for months...

I've enjoyed reading your blog. Your writing about chickens, knitting and life, is an inspiration!

I've loved all your NaBloPoMo posts. (Yours seems to have more 'meat' than mine...)
We have *a* TV, but we don't have TV. Shut off satellite years ago, and never looked back. (I admit I do kind of miss the Foodnetwork, though.)

I so enjoy reading your blog, and love the beautiful pictures of the mountains & chickens! Yes, the Food Network can sure help enlighten us on all kinds of different spices & foods. Isn't it fun?

I've loved reading your posts this month! Being the very bad blogger that I am, I can appreciate what goes into making a good and consistent blog, and I know that this month has been a stretch to do a post every day, but your posts have been an inspiration. Thank you, Margene! I've loved learning things about you, too.

My new Keenes have quickly become favorites. I was especially glad for their soles as I spent the entire weekend out in the fields and in the lot, playing with our sheep.

Have you ever noticed that the seasons with no hot boys are the seasons of Survivor that suck? I'm just sayin'...

xo

I never started a blog but I sure enjoy reading yours. I am pretty crappy at commenting but I try to do it every so often. I am glad you stuck it out.
