Welcome, Millie!

Laurie

To get to Margene's house! Such fun!

Carole

Hey Millie! How great that you are part of Margene and Smith's world now!

CindyCindy

OMG! You have a hen. I'm so jealous. She's a pretty one, too. And, your sun hat is fabulous!

Chery

To make Margene smile So Big!

Anne

To bring you some eggs? :)

That's so wonderful you guys have a mini-farm to work for the summer!

Marijke

Congratulations on the new addition to your family!

jennifer

to get a hug, clearly!

Vicki

Love, love, love. New favorite photo. I hope Millie treats you well -- don't know how it could be otherwise given all the chicken love.
; )

Beverly

I love how happy you look holding adorable Millie! What fun!

jill

What a wonderful smile! Chickens are special creatures. Enjoy her!

Marcia

I don't know about the road crossing mystery, but scientists have determined that the egg indeed came first!

Marcia

No, wait, I think it had to be the chicken.....

Chris

You have a chicken! Does she lay eggs? Nothing like fresh fresh fresh eggs.

Cheryl S.

If the chicken really DID cross the road, obviously it would be to come see you. How fun!

Norma

Oh, how wonderful! So much life-loving potential there!!!!!

Laurie

You are both just too cute - a girl and her chicken. :-) I wish I lived far enough out of town that I could have a chicken or two without also having grousing (pun intended) neighbors. We had chicken wars just a few streets away last summer.

Cookie

Woo Hoo!

Kym

Love Millie! She's a beauty! You have found a wonderful community garden -- and it's been so exciting to watch.

Camille Miner

I never, ever expected that I would see you holding a chicken in my lifetime. Wow!

marianne

I think Millie crossed that road to be yours :^) LOVE that photo!!!
I also love your community garden and wishing I had one as close by!
I'm so tickled with Smith, already planning his Fall garden, he truly is Gardener Smith!

Diane

OMG I'm so jealous! Your community garden has chickens! Our garden has Japanese beetles, not the same thing at all. So jealous!

Sharon

More fundamental, which came first? The chicken or the egg?

Trista

You look so happy in that picture with Millie- I love it! I had a pet chicken as a child and she was very sweet and appreciated the help I gave her and the extra food I gave her because her beak was crooked and the other hens didn't like her much. Anyway, enjoy the hens and look out for the rooster if there is one!

gayle

That has to be the Best.Photo.Ever. Such joy!
I'm glad Millie came into your life. 8)
