The pedicure was fun and I opted for cute flowers (ala TeresaC, however no blue toes).
Amazingly, we had chicken nuggets with oven fries for dinner. The recipe for the nuggets is from Gluten Free Girl and it was yummy! (Yes, we made fry sauce.)
We did a little happy dance after finishing the puzzle (1,000 pieces and 24x30").
The pansy garden was planted (4 pots full) and I'll love watching it grow.
The bonus was warm weather all weekend (albeit a little cloudy).
Sunday we went to the Artesian Well and filled three jugs full of extra good drinking water (Smith brews beer with it).
While driving to the Salt Lake City Cemetery (where family is buried) we enjoy looking at the older homes. The purple door caught my eye (I've always wanted a bright red door), as did the Trompe l-oeil vine.

The pedicure is awesome - I have a design on red toes this week, too! Your pictures show a perfect weekend.

Hi - your jigsaw puzzle looks amazing. Do you happen to have the name of it? My mother-in-law adores jigsaws and is always looking for a more challenging one! Love the toes.

Marv is awesome, and those chicken nuggets look delicious!!

Wonderful week, by the looks of it. I'm impressed you did a thousand pieces that fast! You two are GOOD.

Toes are bootiful. Love the flowers. The puzzle is finit! Yay!!! Artesian water? How cool. Bet it tastes amazing. And, "Marvelous Marv" sounds like my kind of guy. I love the little pebbles placed on top. I'm so glad you had a warm weekend. Your pansies will blow out!!! Happy Monday, Margene!!!!

Someone who can make a post featuring a cemetery this cheerful, surely is a genius at blogging (and living).

What a fine weekend! I love that trompe l'oeil vine. I do have a bright red door -- and I can tell you, it brings much happiness. Maybe you should try it. . . and then it could match your toes. :-)

Sounds (and looks) like a great weekend!! Adorable toes. :D
I had the chance to finally try the Udi pizza crusts yesterday. Very good - but still a toss-up over whether I prefer them to those from Rustic Crust.

It looks like you had a wonderful weekend. I have the same sandals and they are so comfortable that I plan to wear them on a trip to Israel in June.

Mary must have been marvelous! I want my headstone to read "Still Learning". Love the new toe art and the sandals!

Larry keeps commenting on how much he likes the Draper's red door on "Mad Men". And you were 2 blocks away from our house getting water and didn't come say hi? For shame.

Where I used to live in Connecticut, there was a house not unlike that one which was tan with a purple door. I loved it! Maybe I'll get around to painting my door this summer. Sounds like a lovely spring day.

I love that trompe l'oeil vine - amazing. Also, your post brings fond memories of the many beautiful gardens filled with spring flowers up in Utah. I think they need the snow to really make them bloom. Here in So. California the bulbs are never as showy as the ones in our old SLC neighborhood up near the zoo.

Beautiful toes. Fabulous puzzle. Yay for getting your happy pansies planted. mmm. homemade brew. tasty dinner. Once had a neighbour who if it were up to him ALL doors would be red. Red. I love cemeteries, although I love calling them 'grave yards'. love that headstone!

I have a friend who is very ill and would like to buy her a book on tape. She says she likes light, funny stories. I have no idea what to get her. I know you listen to books on CD's and wondered if you have a recommendation? I read the review of Cutting for Stone on your list (it doesn't fit the criteria) but looks like it's something she would be interested in under other circumstances. Any ideas? Thanks.

Love the pedicure! The flowers are just the right touch. I also love the pansies and the puzzle. Now I'm going to obsess over puzzles until I can convince the family to do one with me.

LOVE your toes! And the purple door - well, just WOW! I should get some pansies, but it's been so hot here, I think they'll go by too fast.
What, no knitting?
(((hugs)))

Cute toes! I thought about you getting your pedicure over the weekend when I looked at my toes after working in the garden.

What a lovely, lively post! I really like the toes and am still holding out for better weather before getting a good pedi....

Oooh, that purple door had me squealing! It's a great shade of purple, especially with that taupe -- love that combo! Hope the weather warms up for those lovely toes.

Love the toes! Don't you just smile a little every time you look down at them?
I heard recently, on Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me, of a woman, possibly a meter maid, but I can't be sure. Anyway, she had a parking meter at her grave that was left at "expired". If I didn't think I will be creamated, I'd be trying to come up with punny things for my gravestone as well.
Your weekend looks great!
