Thank you for supporting Birdsong in her new endeavor! The dollars are adding up. We both appreciate everyone who stepped in to help her reach her goal. Friends are awesome!
Last year when I complained to my doctor about my inability to gain weight, he said it would happen after about six months...I needed to be patient. He was right and the weight is starting to come back. I may need to stop eating everything in sight.
The gain in weight will also necessitate a shopping trip for new pants. (Jeans are fine, it's nicer pants for work that I need.) Why is it that every pair of pants is the same size, but three of the four are now too small? One pair was very big and baggy and it's now the only pair that fits perfectly. You know what that means. The only way to buy pants is to try on every pair in a size -- no on-line shopping. A trip to the outlet store will be in my near future (unless I want to wear the same pair of pants everyday).
Hopefully, I will now gain the upper hand over my knitting. I sadly confess to some frustration with the first few rows of Que Sera. The problem was completely of my own making, but the third forth time seems to be the charm and I am (almost) back on track. In other words, the poor sweater looks much the same as my last picture. Hopefully (I seem to do quite a bit of hoping), there will be a growth spurt tonight.
Spring is having the same problem I am and she has not (yet) gained the upper hand over winter. The poor pansies have been hit by snow once again, but we can't complain about several more inches in the mountains. Hopefully, spring will soon gain a foothold!

Hooray for hope!
Sorry about pants shopping.

Yesterday, about to order the pattern for the Forest Canopy Shawl, I browsed through Susan's projects on Ravelry and stumbled on a picture of you in the lovely Clementine Shawlette. You look so much better in today's picture! Have a happy Easter weekend.

Never mind spring, we are getting summer this weekend. Easter dinner may turn out to be a picnic! You look wonderful in that photo. Healthy and happy!

So glad you're getting back to normal! New pants aren't so bad - I'll bet you don't have to hem yours!

Actually, from the looks of it, you could still eat a few extra servings of some things. I hate pants shopping. Why are women's sizes so erratic?!?

Glad you are continuing to get healthy!
Crazy here - it was nearly 80 yesterday and supposed to be again today...

Looking good, girl. I hate clothes shopping, but understand the need to try on different sizes. Gratefully, you have that chore to do;-D I'm so happy for Birdsong. Her goal is one that will help us all. Spring is here, but it will waffle back and forth until April. At least, that's what usually happens. Love the snow covered pansies.

I've never had the 'not gaining weight' problem. Hopefully you can hit the right point to quit eating so much.
The knitting process will return.

You are looking lean and mean, jelly bean! (Seriously, don't do what my hubby did after his heart surgery....forty extra pounds once that appetite came back!) You look so much better than you did a few months ago!

Bruce is trying to do his part by giving you large smoothies instead of medium ones.
Keep going on Que Sera.. you'll get it under control once you get past the first couple of inches.

I believe I've shared my pants-shopping angst with your before. My sympathy is with you. Maybe you can find some fabulous earrings or something the same day to take the edge off.
Anyway, I'm glad you're gaining and feeling more yourself.

I'm going in the opposite direction from you and I'm actually enjoying shopping now that I can find clothes that fit and LOOK nice.

Sorry about the pants shopping - know just what you mean :o(

Once you find pants that fit locally, then you can shop for more of the same style online. Or look for the same designer. I'm sure being tall adds another challenge for you when shopping for pants, too. Good luck!

All Pants are NOT created equal..I have many sizes to select from and strangely I can wear most of them at any time..There seems to be no such animal as a true '10' or whatever anymore.
You look awesome..all healthy and sassy with your pretty scarf!
