Hi fellow Zeneedle devotees.
I just received a call from Cheryl. Margene's surgery went off without a hitch. Yay! Margene is currently recovering in a lovely room with a view in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. By the end of the weekend she'll be transferred to a private room in the main hospital and should be home some time next week.
Although Margene can't respond to comments and emails, I'll be visiting her next week and will bring my laptop to the hospital so she can read your well-wishes.
Thanks for keeping Margene in your thoughts and prayers.
And hooray for fully functioning hearts!

Excellent news! Wishing you a speedy recovery. Boy, this waiting around for the hospital thing... even worse than when the doctor keeps you waiting in the chilly exam room in those stylish gowns that gap in all the wrong places! Here's being at home where the only needles are for knitting!

Margene, I'm so glad all is going well today. Thank you for passing the keyboard to Susan for today's update. Here's a cyberhug and hoping the needles can return to your capable hands very, very quickly! Maybe some magazines and books will be your companions for a couple days! Know you and Smith would rather be up in the mountains this weekend, but soon, soon you'll visit your favorite brunch spot.
