Friday night we were rained out of our evening at the Utah Arts Festival. We ended up hanging out with Cheryl and the Pontiff, while watching an exciting storm of wind, frightening lightning and drenching rain. But, the rainbow that came after was quite a beautiful sight.
Saturday we went to Jim and Deb'salpaca ranch. The setting was picturesque (to say the least) and the occasion of their wedding was a magical event. Congratulations to two lovely people who have found their soul mates!

Lovely way to spend a weekend, celebrating, marveling, and cowering.

What a lovely place for a wedding. I was struck, though, that the alpacas looked like they would like to play in the foothills, and there they stand on a plateau!

What a fun wedding! I loved the Arts Festival this year. Paul and I went on Thursday and the metal art were great. I loved the one in your bottom picture, he had one that looked like an eye. If I had an extra $400.00 I would have bought it for my son's office.

Sounds like a great weekend.....and you've got to love a guy in a kilt! (My nephew and all his groomsmen wore kilts in his wedding.) No long weekend here, though.

I thought they were already married! That might be the same rainbow a non-knitting friend posted on FB the other day from her camping trip north of you! So beautiful.
