My Grrls
Let Me Divert Your Attention....

Running Mode

When you spend 3 full days in which you are completely oblivious to reality, while enjoying friends, laughter, food, knitting, along with fun times, getting back to reality sucks. Now life is on catch up mode.

While I was having a good time with my gang o'grrls, the gift I won in Jessa Lu's comment contest arrived. I've only carried the bag a few days and already its received numerous compliments.  Knit friends noticed right away and they all say how beautifully made it is. Thank you, Jessa Lu! The bag is beautifully made and I'm going to enjoy using it. She has many different fabrics and colors in her Etsy shop and you know you'd love to have one for yourself, right?   Isn't her signature bee charm darling?

The bag is gorgeous and so handy! She does a great job~ Lucky you to have won one!
Back to the grind, eh? :)

I have one JessaLu bag that she gifted to me right before she started selling them. And then Monday I ordered another one!

Ah, well. All good things must end, right? Love the bag. It's so delicate, but roomy! Yup. That Jesslu is a very talented lady.

Funny you should post about that pretty bag. I was just trolling her site yesterday! Her bags ARE gorgeous!!

How lovely!!! How could you not love using this and showing her off(or her showing herself off??'s so fun to win!!!

Oh, I know just how you feel getting back into the swing after having that type of fun!!

A BEE?? My name is Greek for "bee" ... I gotta get over there for a bag!! Glad you had such a great time with you grrls. And I'm sorry that reality bites!

That is a lovely bag!

Congratulations on winning. It's gorgeous!

Bag is darling...I just popped over and bought one :) I read your blog daily and am terrible about not commenting. Love wating all the sweater're amazing. Have a great day!

Awwww, thank you Margene!! You are wonderful to say such nice things about my bags. I'm totally blushing over here. :o)

Congrats again on winning!!

I love that bag...wish you hadn't linked to it. I am on a total budget because of some huge upcoming expenses...and I keep clicking on that link and being tempted. There's a bag with cherries that I adore...and am having to keep giving myself a good talking to not to order it. The little devil side keeps saying "It's only $25" and the little sane side keeps saying "But you have all that money going out in the next two months". Wonder which will win in the end.

re-entry from a dose of fiber friends can be a real bear...
lovely bag !!

Good luck returning to normal life post-Norma.

What a pretty bag! That Jessalu is so talented. I love the bag she made for me.

I'm totally in the same delimma as Doris. I love the blue owl one and I really need something to keep my new spindle safe, but can I scrounge up $30.... I better get it before someone else does, right? It probably won't be there tomorrow. I know. It can be my Mother's Day gift from the kids! Yea! Thanks for the link.

It IS fabulous! That Jessa Lu's quite a grrl....

The bag is fab! Such a perfect size and shape, and the print is so pretty. I'm so tired... and I miss you!

That is adorable! You can never have too many knitting bags...really!

When you lose touch with reality, you know you've had good fun! Jess does great stuff, and wonderful bags. I just ordered a super-sized one from her last night at knit night. Must have one that holds a sweater sized WIP ;)

I love mine- it has pirate monkeys! Perfect size bag.

Too cute!
