You can see the music video here (it's funny). FYI: Rufus Wainwright was born in Rhinebeck New York. We like that, right?
This is a distraction; this is only a distraction while I play a waiting game. I'm waiting for a crochet book (inspiration for the Potholder Swap), waiting for CookieA's book (Sock Mojo is tapping his foot), waiting for time to finish Lily (second sleeve is on the needles), and waiting to finish up some spinning (Sock Mojo is showing signs of angst as he loves that BFL Sea Blue). In the mean time I'm riding the Sweater, Sock, Lace Mojo wave. It's quite the Fools roller coaster ride.
Do something foolish today! It's good for you.

I do so love me some Rufus. In fact, it's been far too long since I've seen him in concert.

My man, Rufus. "Dead Skunk in the Middle of the Road" is a classic. Thanks for the smile, dear. I'm so glad you and Lily are getting along well now. Happy April 1th.

April Fools! I had completely forgotten. Thanks for the reminder to be silly (as if I need any help in that department!)

I'm waiting for that book as well. It's in the mail. The sock mojo continues to reign around here. Long may it last! Have a fun day!

Oh, that's a creative video indeed. Rufus-dreaming is a good way to spend this day! :)
P.S. I like Dianne's comment!

Oh, right. It's April Fool's Day. Any computer problems? I was almost afraid to turn mine on today....but it's a Mac and should be okay. Maybe I'll fool myself into getting on the treadmill today. That would be a good trick :)

Ahhh, Rufus. Love him to pieces. Cookie A's book is quite wonderful. I want to lock myself in a quiet room with it so I can give it my undivided attention.

Good ole Rufus! I'll try and do something foolish today. Maybe I should hop on a plane?

My CookieA book is scheduled to arrive today. Needless to say, I am stalking the UPS trucks in my neighborhood. I can hardly wait to get my hands on this book!

Oh, I love Rufus! The McGarrigles, his mother and aunt, are my favorite sister duo singers ever.

love him too....i have been possessed with naniswe, and lace - need to put nani to bed for a while - i am finding myself forced to think of a new project, need to let those ideas germinate more....

After reading your comments, maybe I should give Rufus another shot. He opened for Tori Amos many years ago and honestly, I wasn't impressed. But that was a LONG time ago, so he's probably much better now.
If you have spare sock mojo, send it to me!

I agree with Dianne!
I did my something foolish and can't go back to that store anytime soon. ;^)

Oh, I love his song Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk.
He's a cutey. Though not as cute as Jakob Dylan ;-D
Happy Fools Day!

Was it foolish to go to Blazing Needles and only buy a Knit Kit and some needles?
