Winter is still with us, but February has been warmer than normal and quite enjoyable.
The first picture in the mosaic is from my Zen garden, the second is a wonderful fiber of merino/bamboo from Wooly Wonka, color Kelp. It's a dream to spin and will grow up to be fingering yarn for a shawl. The next three pictures are of the waning snow from the grounds of our condo and the last picture is Blue Moon Fiber Arts, STR (from the first STR club), Rainforest Jasper. It fits in perfectly with the March/April PS theme.
Color: Green
Material: Stones/Gems/Rocks
Season: Winter
Element: Earth

Beautiful pix; very Zen. A gem of inspiration during my coffee break (Chai break, actually).

Very nice mosaic - you have captured all the components of PS North very well.

That's a beautiful mosaic.

I love how the pic in the upper right looks like silvery fern fiddleheads! And the echo of snow and light in all of the pics. Very pretty! With about 2 feet of snow on the ground still and another foot or more coming down today, green is a hard color to come by... except in the spruces/firs/pines.

Wow - the colors of the natural items blend so well with the yarn. what a great way to eye up color.

OMG! I just got it. I always read your blog headline as Ze Needle... not Zen Needle. D'oh! How many years have I been reading your blog and I just got that? I'm not usually so slow. At least, I don't think so. Teehee.
Lots of snow on the East coast today. Great day for sitting and knitting.

some of my favorite colors and elements! These aren't your usual ones, so it is fun to see you planning projects with them.
