What I didn't do over the weekend:
- Knit (as much as I'd like)
- Think about the blog (much)
- Go out to celebrate our 29th Anniversary (we ate in because the weather was sucky)
- Spin (as much as I'd like)
- See the sun
What I did do over the weekend:
- Had dinner Saturday night with Mel and friends
- Walked in the rain far enough to get quite wet
- Hung out with Mel and friends at the Outdoor Retailers show
- Bought a new Haiku bag (priced to good to leave behind)
- Walked (back) in the snow far enough to get wet and cold...bleh
- Called 911 for a man passed out and laying in the snow (bad part of town--the Buddha is in everyone)
- Saw the inversion lift (which happens when it snows)
- Finished a mitten (when I should have finished a sweater)
*After writing this post I read Claudia's re-entry post. I'm chalking the similarities up to "great minds".
I think the new government (praise Budda!) should have a special for people who live in snowy climates - a week of warmness somewhere on the house, so to speak. Would mind paying my taxes soo much less if that was included. tee hee. But those important other things are first, like education and science and caring and and and.. C: nice thought though

There is something to be said for 29 years spent with one human being. I tip my hat to you both. Congrats! As for the weather? It's winter and it sucks. I love your new bag. And, there was no choice, really, with the man passed out in the snow, was there? Back to the sweater;-)

A very happy anniversary to you! You are much braver than I. I've been avoiding walks for a while because I just can't stand being out in the winter weather....of course, if I would just do it than I would probably not be feeling so much cabin fever...

He's lucky to have had you - we were watching yet another storm and cold temps run thru SLC on the weather last night and I wondered how bad it was.

Happy 29th....newlyweds compared to some of us! We opted not to go out for ours, too, but more because I found cheap lobsters at the market than because the weather was bad! We're due for a storm tonight, though.
