It felt good to divert from sweater madness and knit a mitten, but as soon as it was finished (and before starting the second one), I went back to Wisteria…beautiful, elegant Wisteria. While it feels like I've been knitting this sweater for a long period of time, the truth is it's been just over two weeks! If there happens to be enough knitting time this week Wisteria could be finished, but I'm not going to push. Susan and Larisa have put everyone to shame by knitting three sweaters this month (so far) so I won't be feeling smug about knitting two.
I'm several rows into the bottom cables and enjoying their beauty, enjoying the soft and beautiful yarn. The sleeves shouldn't take long once the body is finished. It will be awhile before I knit another one piece sweater on large needles. Wisteria weights a ton and she's hard to pack around (as was Acer). My hands and arms are tired of big knitting and that just might be what's needed to push me back to the Bohus.
I am feeling is a little bit chagrined because I have ignored Gray Mist. I've deluded myself by filling my knitting basket (which travels with me often) with only the Shetland Shawl, Wisteria and the mittens. Bohus sits at home, alone, sadly forgotten. The poor thing is out of sight, out of mind and someone should do something about it. That someone can only be me. Since it appears I may be ahead in the sweater game, I may take a week and knit only on GM. She deserves the attention for being patient with me. In any case, I'd like to see the yoke grow and the colors change. Wouldn't you?

Wisteria is going to be stunning. I like the idea of working exclusively on Bohus for a week. That should get you some great progress.

I like seeing whatever you feel like working on!

I just started reading "Poems of Color" and now I'm inspired to knit a Bohus too. I will watch your progress with "baited breath"! They are so beautiful.

So pretty. Wisteria is stunning and Grey Mist is enchanting.

I'm delurking to say I'm looking forward to you for you to make the Gray Mist.
I just finished a workshop with Susanna Hansson and am working on Bohus replica Blue Shimmer wristlets. I think I'm going to turn mine into mittens. I have two hat/scarf kits from Solsilke waiting in my stash.
Are you a member of the Bohus group over in Ravelry? Their reference thread 'Things we Know' may be very helpful to read for tips, modifications to consider etc.

Both are looking so pretty!

Definitely take a break - your hands will thank you. I found the weight of Wisteria to really get old by the time the bottom hem arrived, AND, you still have to wrassle it around to put the sleeves on!
Besides, Bohus needs her day in the sun (er... inversion?)

I'd have a hard time tearing myself away from Wisteria.

My husband's Cobblestone is now so big and heavy that it's causing me problems, too. I overdid it a couple of days ago with the 16 inch circs on a sleeve, and then yesterday noticed that I couldn't work on the yoke for long without the aches and pains kicking in. I switched to a shawl last night for my night off and - surprise, surprise - no problems at all. It's definitly good to mix it up!

I think Bohus is going to be so worth every single little stitch. It's beautiful!

I'm looking forward to it all!! All in good time...

Wisteria is looking lovely. About those over achievers in the sweater marathon? Just remember the rabbit and the hare - slow and steady wins the 'race' such as it were. Although in your case it might be 'slightly less speedy wins the race. ;-)

I'm still impressed that you will have two sweaters finished this month. And, I'm stunned that others have finished three. Way to go, everyone!

I finished my shawl last night so I'm swatching for #4 today. But I'm not going to start it since the two mittens I started this month need mates.

Yes, I am indeed looking forward to seeing the colors change on your Bohus! Wisteria is lovely, though.

That Wisteria is going to be a beauty! Can't wait to see it in all its finished glory. Meanwhile, eat your heart out: I'm knitting a 12 month size baby sweater in Dale Baby Ull on size 2's. Nyah, nyah.

I wish you were here and could go see the beautiful exhibit at the Swedish Institute. I wish I could get myself there come to think of it!! Of course yours will be more special because I "know" you!

And we finally have some sun - you'll have better light for working on GM. I'm excited to see the colors.

Yes! I saw that picture on Ravelry yesterday and almost yelled COLOR!!! Margene's got color!!! :o)
I'm not going to feel about not being an overachiever either; I'll be happy to get my one sweater per month done!

Yeah, that would be, "I'm not going to feel BAD"
My fingers type faster than my eyes can proofread!
