Whole Lotta Spinning Going On.

A third bobbin is about half full. This delicious merino was hand dyed by Anne. I've been trying to live up to Carole's 10 Minutes a Day spinning code, but some days I only fit in a few minutes before bed. Yesterday I spent all morning at the wheel. It felt good to finishing filling the second bobbin and start the third. This may be ready to ply by next weekend. It wants to grow up to be a cozy, bulky 2x2 ribbed hat. We'll see!

Right hand? Really? Wow.

Beautiful stuff, Margene. Can't wait to see it plied. Like lace after it's blocked, I love to see how different singles look when they're plied.

Thank you for giving me the inspiration to get back on track with my ten minute commitment.

So so love the color. I am excited to see what it will be looking like plied and all knitted up :)

Oh, I love it. I think it would be terrific in a 2x2 rib hat - look forward to seeing it. At the rate you're spinning, it shouldn't be long.

I fell off the 10 minute wagon a while ago but since I got my new wheel I've been making up for lots of time! That yarn you're spinning is gorgeous.

Like Carole, I've fallen off the Ten Minute wagon, but made up for it this weekend with the Wee Robin back home. I'm on bobbin #6! Mine is kinda boring compared to yours, though. That Anne is amazing! What weight do you think it will be? 2-ply? 3-ply?

yummy colors!

How did I miss your Sunday post? Sheesh, I need a keeper. The spinning is beautiful and I love the colors. It might not want to be a hat when it grows up. It might want to be a neckwarmer. You know we can't tell our young 'uns a thing.

What lovely colors! They will make a wonderfully cheery winter hat to get you through the dark days.
