Goosey Goosey Gander
While at Wheeler Farm for the Red Sweater photo shoot we were suddenly overtaken by a large gaggle of geese.
Seven adults and an untold number of young cut us off at the pass crossed the road in front of us.
And then made a run for it (the water) kicking up dust as a disguise.
I did get away with a couple of feathers, however.

Well, at least we got one preview photo from the sweater shoot. Looks like some nice ones to come.
Now that I think about it, I don't think I've seen many geese passing through here this year. Did they all head your way?

That is great! That is quite the stampede. Glad you were there to witness it! :D

Canada geese? The dopey things are infesting NJ. I was in England a few years ago, and there they were too.
You should hear the honking and quacking that goes on when they land in duck territory.
The red sweater looks great!

How'd they get them to fall into your butt pocket? I love the back of your sweater. It's beautiful. Hope the front looks good too. There is a front, right? Damn. Now, you have me worried.

It kind of looks like you're channeling the geese and heading for the water too! But not, of course, after blocking the sweater & all. Looking forward to seeing it.

Too funny! Well, geese aren't really funny...they are a nuisance around here. But the pictures are very funny!

To what crafty use can you put those feathers, I wonder?

Dang, that's a lot of geese at one time! I hope this is just the teaser and not the 'real' photo shoot... you and your new red sweater look great from behind, though.

EEK! I'm surprised they didn't attack you! Canadian geese are mean as all heck around here. I got chased by a mama one protecting her little ones once. It was frightening! And they are fast!!!
