This morning a south wind blew away the constant valley haze and light (like fire) filled the sky. March through May the sky is ever-changing...thus begins my favorite time of year.
(Don't forget to enter the Blogiversary Contest in yesterdays post.)
That is just a beautiful photo . . . what a start to the month!

Is this morning or evening? It is absolutely stunning. Happy March 1th to you, too.

Amazing! Simply amazing. I love what changing seasons and the angle of the sun does for the sky.

But you know I just have such a hard time with March. I'm trying to like it though, for your sake.

What a breathtaking photo!
I was reading through yesterday's comments and wondering how in the world you will ever choose? So many sublime pictures painted there and more to come.

I have mixed feelings about March (I was born on my mother's birthday in March, but she died four days after "our" birthday the year she turned 70) but I am so glad to see the end of February! Gorgeous sky!

Wow! I used to be a sunset person, but I'm starting to like sunrises more, starts the day off right. Now if I could just get my butt out of bed earlier to see more of them...

Gorgeous sky! Whenever I see a sky like that, I try to imagine what it would look like as the colors in a shawl.

So Beautiful!! March is always a hard month for me. I am ready for Spring, but Spring is still so far way up here in the mountains

I was thinking "flaming sky" before I even read your commentary. Another beautiful shot!

We ended February with -18 degrees, and started March with snow falling up to 4"/hour this afternoon - we have at least 15" of new snow on the ground. Spring is only in Spunky Eclectic fiber here - enjoy the beginning of yours and tell us about it!
