Saturday Sky
Sandy started Saturday Sky a long time ago and I have loved being a part of it from the start. The sky can be so full of drama, so calming, and almost always entertaining. Look up! The sky is a beautiful place.
Smile at the sky
It’s so pretty
It sets me free
When I’m sad I go outside
When I’m happy
I go outside
A smile emerges on my face
So far and wide
Just like the sky
The smiling sky whom I smile back to
Smile at the sky
Are you happy?
You’re already outside and smiling
Are you sad?
Get your ass outside and show the sky a smile
Smile at the sky
Smile at the sky
And give him a grin or two
Remember he loves you too
Smile at the sky
Smile at the sky

Lovely! And a perfect Sandy poem, wait until she reads it.
Our sky is worth smiling about today, it has been gloomy, but today is bright.

I'm always on the cutting edge, or so I think. Last night I prewrote tomorrow's post, which includes a favorite poem. Although it will now be a day late for the silent poetry reading today, which I didn't know about, heh.

If I said I hated it would that surprise you?
hahahah! Only kidding! I lOve it of course! The sky, it's something that is so important to me. I love that I can look up and know that you are looking up at the same sky. It may look different, but's always there. Constant. Beautiful, breathtaking, stunning, unbelieveable, moody: I could go on and on!
(as if that is a surprise!)
Love the poem! I will smile at the sky today! With you!
xoxo

You often put down your photography skills, but I would have to say that you do such a wonderful job, particularly with your Saturday Sky pictures. Todays was beautiful.

If I participated in Saturday Sky, I fear it would be "Saturday Sky, Now on Tuesday!" Maybe I should do it anyway. Or, in the summer anyway, "From My Back Deck".
