We actually got to see the eclipse, although hazily, when some snow failed to materialize. However, my photos were taken the night before....I was a day off! Wondered why nothing happened.....
That night I drove up my driveway after a workout, and that moon was hanging low over the little hill behind my house -- you know the one. And I was stopped in my tracks -- almost forgot to finish driving into the garage and go into the house. Very captivating.
WOW!

I know! We all tried to see the eclipse from downtown and it was totally overcast. Darn clouds.

Lovely!
We were a bit sorry not to see the lunar eclipse, too. I think the kid would have got a kick out of it.

Gorgeous! I saw the moon that night too, and was hoping it would be like that for the eclipse, but no luck.

So we couldn't see the eclipse here, but Steph could see it in Portland. Cruel joke? Yes.
