Good Memories
The minute I saw Norma's pee stop post I knew where it was.
When we visited New England we made a stop on the way back from a day of sight seeing and you can bet Smith and I were impressed with the unique, fun and very creative rest stop. Every State in the Union should take note of the way Vermont treats its visitors and residents.
Thanks for taking me back to such a fun time, Norma!

I'm catching up on my Bloglines (that will take at least a week) and I'm sorry to hear that you've been ill. As in really ill. But happy to hear that you are on the mend! Don't rush the recuperation, give yourself plenty of time to get back on your feet. Pneumonia can take more out of a body than one would think. But it's obvious that it hasn't taken away your sense of humour! Here's wishes for a continued recovery and no relapses!

Oh my "pee stops"! You are making me miss the US. Not much in the way of public toilets here I am afraid!!!!

Very cool stuff! I never would have guessed from Norma's initial post, but I'm so glad she let us in on it right away :)

That is a great shot of Smith with the moose! I do think there should be a contest amongst the states to come up with nice rest stops.

I love that moose. I'm going to find it this Summer when we go camping up that way.

Such symmetry: two great-looking gals, and two great-looking guys.

In another rest stop in Vermont I found a really nice yarn shop in Jamaica, Vermont, she had an exhibition box in the visitor center, I agree with you, Vermont is so nice!

Iowa's rest stops are very nice, but I want to take a trip to Vermont just to visit the one Norma profiled. THAT ONE looks FUN. And what a thing that is to say about a rest stop.
