Saturday Sky - Winter Solstice

You know you're sick when you can't knit, can't eat chocolate (or much of anything else) and only wish for sleep.  If one must get the flu then it should only last three days. Today is a better day and I do, finally, feel like knitting. Thank you for your good wishes. The first day of winter brought a big storm, but who can complain when the day ends up this beautiful?

Again, Merry Christmas, Blessings of Solstice, and Joy of the Season to you.

I'm glad you're feeling a bit better! Keep resting and start knitting. You'll be yourself in no time. Oh, and if you really can't eat the chocolate you can always send it here. :-)

Man, those views are amazing!

I hope you feel better pronto!

Again I'm green with envy for your beautiful snow..but not for your flu..had it a few weeks ago..and I will vouch for not feeling up to knitting and eating chocolate..all I wanted to do was sleep or 'die'..Hope you're on the road to recovery now...Great Holidays to you~

Beautiful skies! And snow! Glad you're feeling better.

Beautiful pictures! Hope you are back to yourself very soon...you must, Christmas coming!

I'm so glad you're feeling better. Take care, relax and knit. A blessed holiday seasoon to you, too.

Merry Solstice! The snow is gorgeous and I'm wishing we had snow in Virginia. I'm glad you are feeling better. Keep resting and knit when you can.

Hope you're completely better by tomorrow!

Too sick to eat chocolate? Poor thing! I hope you feel better.
There are many things that I enjoy about your blog, but one in particular is how you love winter..it is a beautiful season and it is so nice to see someone who enjoys it!

Get well soon! Being sick is no fun.

Same to you, and to Smith!

Ack, the flu :( Feel better very soon!

Beautiful sky! Good to read you are feeling a bit better :-)

Have a wonderful Christmas, Margene!

Those views ought to get rid of that bad flu. What a lovely place to live in.

Happy Solstice!

Love the beautiful snow!

Feel better soon.
Season's greetings to you and Smith.

What a gorgeous sky! I love it when it looks like that. (We get it here too, although more often in the summer.) I'm glad you're getting over whatever you had. Merry Christmas!

Lovely trees. I hope you are at a point in your illness where the view can help, rather than seem superfluous. The time I got flu...I knew I was getting better when, rather than knowing I was dead, I only wished I was dead. Sounds like you are better than that.

That being said, you know what is going to be said next, right? Do it next year.

glad you are on the mend.. it sure was a whopper of a flu wasn't it.

I do hope you feel better, Margene! And those sky pictures are just gorgeous.

Hope you have lots of ginger tea on hand!

Hopefully you keept feeling better! Happy gwfgwf (generic winter festive gathering with food) to you and Smith!

Beautiful sky photos! Hope you keep feeling better. I took my last antibiotic today for the respiratory crud I have had all December. I will celebrate with another gingerbread man.

thank you for sharing the beauty of utah! glad to hear you're feeling better, and have a happy holidays!

Glad to hear you are feeling better Margene!

Happy Holidays to you!

Glad to hear you are better. And Happy Solstice to you, too. Beautiful photos. It seems that we are sharing MUCH similar weather this year, storm for storm.

I had to leave work early today because I've come down with who-knows-what and they about threw me out of there. So I'll join you on the knitting couch, but I think chocolate's out of the question here as well. So let's put an oldy but goodie Christmas movie on and knit the afternoon away!

Since I obviously can't have a white Christmas, maybe I can enjoy one vicariously through you and your beautiful pictures!

Feel better soon and I hope you get some sleep!

What a beautiful sky!!!
Hope you're feeling better soon!!

Hope you feel even better tomorrow!
Happy Christmas to you and yours!
Happy Knitting in 2008!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to You Margene! And thank you for another year of blogging.

Be better by Christmas, please. All that brilliant light should help.

Happy holidays.

Continue to rest hard and pamper yourself. No relapses!! May you be in centered stillness and beauty.

If you gotta have snow, at least it helps to have it with sunshine. Soooo pretty!!

I hope you feel better soon. That is much prettier weather than we've be having.

I am glad you are feeling a bit better. Take care!

Please take good care of yourself - everything and everyone else can wait for just a little bit until you're on your feet again. No one has the time to be sick any more...especially Christmas week! Your western skies are magnificent!! Curl up with a blanket, a hot cup of something to drink, and enjoy the views...food for your soul!

With THAT to look at...you just HAVE to feel better?
(I hope!)
Merry Happy Solstice Christmas Holidays!
