Oh so pretty. Due to the drought (ours is not near as bad as the southeast), we have no red colors this fall. Not enough sugar in the leaves because of the lack of rainfall. Thanks for yours. We do have plenty of golds, though. Even the poison ivy (which always turns red)is brown this year.
Yeah for Autumn! The cool, crisp mornings and being able to wear handknit socks. Autunmn is my favorite time of year. Missing the leaves change is the only drawback to living here*. Thanks for sharing the foliage.
*Well, and fires and mudslides and earthquakes - but we won't talk about those! :D
Autumn colors do signal the change of season in my mind. Downtown's trees all just turn brown and drop. I miss the colors.
My previuos neighborhood has blocks of mature pin oaks leading into it and I had several younger trees that changed at various times. Maybe I should swing by and visit my paperbark maple.
I hope the tea gets you through at least some of today. Don't overdo it, though.
Great photos! Our sun is out today after rain and wind yesterday. Hoping there are enough pretty leaves left out there to peep at. Have a great Sunday and that you are on the mend.
I saw these gorgeous colors all collaged together when you first posted, but had to comment when I noticed the little spider and her shadow this time! Love your photos! Glad you're finally feeling better, though it probably took a lot of starch out of you -- give yourself time before you're totally yourself again.

The golden leaves in the grass are very much like a project idea I have brewing... :-)
This is the very best time of year, if you ask me. I just love the fall. Even more than early spring!
