Love Thursday

When Sheree posts on Thursday's she shares, and shows pictures, of what she loves most about her day and her life.  Her Love Thursday post is one I look forward to every week, as it's a joy to see pictures of the boys and her creative spirit. Sheree often ends her post by asking "What are you loving this week?"  So today, I give you "Love Thursday", Zeneedle Style.

I'm loving...

Thevariableweatherofspring

...the changing weather of spring (like the snow yesterday).  It's never boring, doesn't stays 'bad' for long.

Thegangatstitchnbitchhavinagrandtim ...the Stitch 'n Bitchers.  Tuesday is often the most enjoyable evening of the week.

Twonearlyfinsihedhandspunhandknitso ...hand spun, hand knit socks, nearing the wearing stage.

...Judy’s email response to yesterdays post...

Knitting socks is like splitting wood, it warms you several times over…
once through the process of knitting
twice by the wearing
thrice by the friends made.

Emmylouwithfiberandaview ...Emmylou with fiber and the view from my window as I spin.

Smithandmoxiecominginfromthesnow

....and Smith and Moxie coming in from their morning walk (in the snow).

What are you loving this week?

I know what Scout is loving today...it's her birthday!!

Comments

Great idea for a post! I'm stealing it.

i'm loving my son today; tonight he and i are going to see The Lion King on stage.

Well, I love that picture of the rain. I find it hard to look away. Really beautiful, Margene. :)

That picture of the rain makes me thing of the crazy howling wind we had here last night. I love the sound of a whipping wind when I lay in bed at night.......my DH hates it...LOL

I'm loving YOU!

I love the handspun socks. So much to be happy about.

Love Thursday is a great idea! I love my daughter. She's been a real trooper through all our house foo.

I'm always so inspired by Sheree's Thursday posts too. It's about being in the moment.

Great photos!

Smith & Moxie look a little chilly but I bet they loved their walk.

You hand spun hand knit socks look great.

Hey! Tell Smith I like his hat!
And where were you standing when you took that SnB photo? Or are you really that tall??!

Yessss!! We so needed the water, and I commented to D last night when we went to bed how lovely it was to hear the rain against the front windows.

And I appreciate your SnB picture that showed me from my "good side". :)

I'm loving being done with classes at 9:30 a.m., having the rest of this beautiful sunny but chilly day to spin and knit, visit my local yarn shop, and if the sun stays out get some handspun yarns pictured (hopefully) to sell in my new Etsy shop, SynKnits.etsy.com.

What a wonderful picture of the rain. love it! Is that a picture of your fiber studio / room?? First I can remember.

Thank so much M. I'm just loving that Supergirl is finally feeling better. I thought I was getting what she had but so far I'm fighting it off. I can't be sick on my birthday!
xoxoxo

What a VIEW! Oh...that's what I'm loving - and envying!
(((hugs)))

I'm loving your pictures! Also, my little kids and the new circle of people changing jobs has brought into my life, as well as spring unfolding each early morning walk with the dogs...

I'm with Cara! I'm loving you too. Thanks (again) for a new blog to follow and new ideas.

We've having some repair work done on our house this week. I'm not loving the process, but I will love the results.

I'm loving life today! I have a blog post that says why ;) I'm also loving your post!

I see a family resemblance between Smith and Moxie. Must be the mustache.

Cracking up at Cheryl's comment. She's right, you know! :-)

I was wondering if it would be rude to point out that gray mustaches must run in your family - but I see Cheryl has beaten me to it!

I love our spring weather too!

Wonderful post! Mmmmm, handspun, handknit socks! I must get my spinning to the point where I can do that!

What a great post idea. I'm loving how different the lace scarf I just finished looks now that it's blocked. I know, I know, that's like saying I love that the sun comes up every morning. I don't care, it's magic.

So is the sunrise, now I come to think of it.

Wow, snow, huh!? I had heard such a rumor! Today, I am loving that the trees all over Virginia are blooming, that the herb farm has opened for the season, and that the local drive-in theater starts up again this weekend!

Oh, also, I'm REALLY loving that Ryan only has 3 1/2 weeks until he is officially 2/3 done with law school! HoorAY!

Love this idea. Looks like you have much to love.

I love Smith's hat! And the sunshine outside and the fact that all my seedlings have sprouted! Great post!

Fun post! I'm loving the signs of spring in my yard- the grass is returning, the jasmine is in bloom, and the pretty leaves are once again sprouting on the fig tree branches. Yay! Thanks for getting us to think about the good stuff today.

Those hand spun socks are so pretty. what colourway was the roving again? I did a quick search in your achives but I must have missed it.
The weather is very changable here too. Alternate downpours and sunshine. You can tell the school holidays have arrived:-)

Your post is quietly inspirational. Thanks. I really love that photo from SnB. It captures it so well. And Smith looks great in his Amber hat.

I love your eternally cheerful posts!

Lovin' Smith, Moxie and that hat. Seeing Zen Style trail mix at Target this morning and thinking of you. Trying to find my balance and a wonderfully wind-free day.

Firstly, I love this post. Secondly, today I am loving color and all the possibilities one has with it.

Lots to love about everything, huh Margene? Love your sock post yesterday (looks like quite a few people did) - and love all these photos. Love the one of Smith and Moxie and love that I recognized the Amber hat. Love the way all of our lives have become entwined in that way. :)

What a great love post!

Lovin' the Love-In. ; )

Those socks are coming along so nicely! How fun! I have been on a sewing binge lately so no knitting and spinning right now. I wish there were more hours in the day so I could always do all 3 of the fibery things I love but it seems I have to sort of go in rotations. Those pics of your socks though always make me want to get back to the wheel and spin some sock yarn!

Smith and Moxie are both so handsome.

I'm loving this pic of Smith and Moxie - both such handsome dudes! And I'm loving that every single day my blog friends (like you) bring me yet something else to enrich my world :)

Thanks for sharing that - I wish I'd had the chance to read it earlier today, because I needed a smile! :)

Hi Margene,
Your spinning room with a view looks so inspiring! Thanks for such a really nice post
that has gotten me daydreaming about loves of all sorts....

Thanks for the pointer to Sheree's blog - she takes wonderful photographs, and she was just in San Francisco.

Wow, the hand spun is gorgeous. Thanks for a great blog idea and intro to yet another blog!

I love my life. I love my friends. I love my good luck. I love my sweetheart.

From that picture, it looks like Moxie's loving that the snow is outside only! I love the picture of the spring snow!

great post. I love this idea too.
Your hand knit hand spun socks are lovely.
and that photo of the rain.... whoa! I thought only we here in Seattle area had that kind of rain:-)

i always enjoy sheree's thurs. posts as well! you did a great job with yours :o)

This week, I am loving that we had sunshine here in the grey Northwest! And not only that, but the fact that I was able to even spend time out it the sun!
I love spring! Flowers, seedlings, birds chattering away in the morning to wake me up!

Great post - You've totally tempted me. I think I have to add SLC on my must move to someday - it's full of fiber fun.
