You come here on Monday expecting pictures of the mountains. So, here you go:
The view from my place and...
another from Solitude Ski Resort.
You may also expect to see pictures of the grrls I hang with on the weekends...
Mim, Blogless Val and I had a nice time sitting in the sun and chatting with Smith on Sunday.
You may come here expecting to see what I've spun over the weekend with the Saturday Spinners or the Woolpack Spinners. So, here you go:
A nearly full bobbin of Forecast from The Spunky Club spun with....
the Woolpackers, Shirley, Tan and Cindy.
And this week you've come here expecting to see a finished Hidcote, but...what's that adage?
Oh yeah. You're just SOL!

Thanks for fulflilling my expectations. And what a beautiful place to spin!

I guess I can let you off the hook this one time because the other stuff is so good.

Mmmm....is that mountain actually what you see from your house every day? It is SO pretty!
That hidcote looks like it will be something else when it is finished and blocked :)

And Susan's right - Val's gorgous! I don't think I've seen (or noticed) her picture before.
So sweet and nice to be able to sit around chatting and knitting and spinning with the grrls. :)

Posted by: Margaret | March 12, 2007 at 07:31 AM
Well, with everything else you accomplished this weekend, I think we can let it slide that Hidcote is not finished :)

LOL!

Your Forecast is lovely! Makes me want to go find mine and spin away.
Posted by: Melinda | March 12, 2007 at 07:46 AM
Yes, but the Hidcote looks lovely draped on your head. Your spinning is lovely. Any ideas what it wants to be? Thanks again for the mountain pix.

If Hidcote is that gorgeous in progress, I can't wait to see her finished. If you'll excuse me, I need to go expose some film...

ROFLOL! Too funny...the mountains and grrrls are gorgeous! (Hidcote's on it's way...I know that)
(((hugs)))

Was this weekend not obscenely gorgeous? We rode yesterday, and looks like next weekend will be perfect for outdoor pursuits as well!
Ah well - you still made a lot of progress on other things. I'm still just reading the pattern. :)

You never disappoint! Hidcote will get finished. What's that other old adage? Everything has a time... There's a time to snow, a time to rain, a time to laugh, a time to cry....there's even a time to knit Hidcote..

Your mountain photos are just terrific! I grew up in SLC, with a similar view of those mountains, so it's always a pleasure to check your blog and see a new photo of them, and to read about your projects and your busy life!
