Looks are deceiving...what starts out as a beautiful day turns into a day hotter than hell. It's 80 already and predicted to be 104. Lucky Sandy is on vacation for two weeks...me? only Monday off but I plan to enjoy it if I don't melt.

Beautiful photo. Yep, gonna be hotter than hell. I watched this sunrise from Coffee Garden. This was my first sunrise without glasses (just had LASIK). Keep cool today.

A perfectly lovely looking sky hiding the fact that it's ready to ROAST you. :) It really is lovely.
40 days until September. September is uaually cooler. And the HOT that does come does not last long like the JULY hot, right? 40 days. We can do it. 40 days goes by fast.
If we don't melt first.
xo
Monday off? You are lucky for that. Did I mention I'm on vacation?
haha

Tell me about it. I find that most of the time looks are deceiving. We have some of the most beautiful skies here in Arizona but yesterday it was 118! OMG! Stay cool and go knit some wool socks will ya!

Just amazing sky. Amazing. Have a shandy and put your feet up in the shade, dear.

That sky picture is the coolest thing EVER. Too bad you're going to be sweltering today, though. It's supposedly 70 here, but it must be terribly humid, because it feels REALLY HOT. Have a great time at the concert! Don't melt!

The same is happening here, my dear. No breeze either. Ugh. Maybe some G&T's will slow down the meltage? Cheers!

Cool sky picture....try to stay cool yourself!

Well, it's gorgeous anyway. We're overcast with rain, but at least it's cooler.

Lucky you! I have to work on Monday. And, even worse, I have to try and get into my parking lot while "The so-Called Parade" is underway one block to the east.

Great photo. Looks like it should be on an inspirational poster with the word HOPE underneath it :)

Hee! We're having a cold snap, so it should only get up to 90 here in Oklahoma! Love your sky pic!

ah, chica, beautiful sky! I miss it. Here it's pouring rain after a real cloudburst. The lightning and thunder are over and the rain is tapering off. MUCH cooler here now. Enjoy your long weekend. Hi to your beloved.

Really beautiful sky you've got there! I kind of miss that clear blue . . . ours has either been gray (today) or a hazy blue all week. I miss that sharp, crisp blue color!

That is a beautiful sky, even if it is a harbinger of Hades.

Stunning photo.

I'm sending cold-front vibes your way! The temp finally dropped here in Missouri, so it's only a matter of time until you get some relief in Utah, right?
