Sandy said (as she always does) "Show me your sky!" Here you go, dear grrl. It was dreary and cloudy with rain in the valley and snow in the higher elevations. That's been the usual weather pattern this winter. But Sunday morning we did have a patch of blue show through before more rain and snow blew in.
We did talk about taking a trip into the mountains, but the thought of showering and cleaning up felt like an insurmountable task. A cold had taken grip of my sinuses the day before, which help in the decision to join Celia and her gang in the first International PJ day of 2006. Usually sitting around in PJs is the last thing I want to do on a Sunday, so this may be my first and last IPJ Day, but I did enjoy it.
With knitting nearby, a healthy treat, a warm cup of ginger green tea, an iPod full of music and a friend (or two) I relaxed in my decluttered junque room/studio. Moxie and Murphy stayed close while I knit and relaxed. The swift is attached semi-permanantly to one end of the futon and the ball winder at the other, but they didn't bother me us one bit. The boyz relaxed and slept and I made good progress on the second Jaywalker sock.
Now I ask you, with get up like that (but doesn't it look comfy?) who needs a fugly Yahoo Icon?

Well, except for the sick part, your day is heavenly. I love pj's day, but only if I feel well! :) Feel better now. Can't have you sick!
Thanks for your blue. There is nothing like some blue above for brightening a day!

The best medicine there was the snuggle time with M&M I'll bet. Nothing like that in the world. :) Get better soon!

omg...cutest picture of you and the boys.

Oh my gosh if I had a day like that I'd be asleep in a blink! Sorry you weren't feeling too great. Your newly organized set-up looks wonderful though!

very cute! you and the boys look perfectly content! what was playing on your IPOD?

Best medicine is always to curl up in the warm with either some good knitting (or if even knitting is too hard to face) a good book. Hope you are feeling better for the rest. I made the mistake of trying to carry on through my cold/flu and finished up taking twice as long to get over it. Sometimes you just need to kick back and relax :-)

I hope you feel better soon. A PJ day in a decluttered room with warm pups at your feet sound like bliss. Take care and knit lots

Looks fanstastically comfy. I'd give my right arm (mmm, maybe a foot, so I could still knit) for a quiet day in PJs with nothing to do but knit. Hope your cold is better soon.

I hope you are feeling better today. My youngest daughter is home on the sofa in her jammies with a cold too. Looks like M&M took good care of you!

You look adorable, not like a fugly icon at all. And your socks match your quilt, that's impressive for a PJ day. Feel better!

I love the occasional PJ day, but not if it's accompanied by being sick with a cold. I hope you're feeling much better now.
The only thing worse than being sick is being too sick to knit.

It does look comfy. Especially with the doggy footwarmers. I'm a big fan of spending lazy days in my PJs.

Nice hand knit socks!!!!!
As long as it is comfortable, who cares about fashion when it comes to pajamas!??

Sounds like a wonderfully relaxing day. Hope you feel better.

Oh, Margene!! You do look comfy. But the others look more relaxed. You'll get through the jaywalkers...sometimes, it is just about getting to the end *smile*...

Now, that sounds like a glorious day to me. (Well, except for the sinus-y thing. Yuck. Feel better soon.) What I wouldn't give for a day to just curl up, knit if I wanted to, read if I wanted to, drink some excellent tea, curl up with my cat. (Notice, nothing was mentioned about including the wild children. I think that I'll send them to school that day!)
Every now and then, we all need a relaxing/no stress day.

Okay that is my favorite picture of you EVER! You look like you're FIFTEEN! I gotta say, pretty much everyday is pajama day around here - seeing that I hardly ever leave the house. ;-)
I'm sorry you're not feeling too good. I had sinus headaches all weekend myself, but they seem to be a bit better now. Hope you're feeling good today!

Oh, your Schnauzers are too cool...and I can't believe they're not eating what you have in the plate...mine would...! Hope you get better soon!

Let's pray you don't get what I had, okey dokey? You do look 15 in your pic! ;)

Ah, pajama days are bliss. I often do mine on Saturdays, listening to the local NPR station all day in true dork fashion. They're the best when you haven't had one in a while. Savor yours until the next one!

The accessories, however, are fantastic! Looks like they are great helpers. :)

I could never stay in pajamas all day...I'd be too cold!
Hope you feel better. :)

Looks at those puppies warming up your feet. Pets always love it when we're sick. ;) Feel better soon!
