First up - Happy Birthday, Cara!! We've all been waiting, waiting, waiting for this day. You have brightened my life with your wit, honesty, humor and passion for knitting (and Bruce!). May your day be full of fun, happiness and knitting and 2006 be very good to you.
Run over to Cara's blog and leave a comment, quickly...you may be able to get in on a fabulous contest.
Second - A is for Antelope Island (for Anne’s ABC-Along)
On a sunny day...
and a cloudy day.
A is also for our friend Aspen (isn't she a doll?).
Third -Yesterday I finished Sally's Funnel Neck sweater and today I will cast on Rosarie. Since Rosarie was in my stash that also means I've joined Kim's StashAlong. Part of the roolz require no yarn acquisitions for 3 months. While I have been unsuccessful in the past at this sort of thing, we'll see how this one goes. It's true, I have no need for any more yarn.
Fourth- When not wearing her own knits a knitter must be well dress, so I ordered new T-shirts from the Got Gauge Store. Happy New Year to me.
Fifth- I'm not one to look back, so the only 2005 wrap up I did was to move around my photo albums. If I'm going to be blogging for awhile it might be nice to keep track if what has been accomplished by year. New albums will be added as 2006 projects are completed. In that same vein, there is no reason to make a list of what will come. It's one day at a time around here.
Resolutions don't sit well with me and Claudia, who feels the same way, pointed out what the wise man Yoda said. "Do or not do. There is no try." Words to live by so that resolutions are not necessary.
The main thing we all need to do in the coming New Year is to have fun with life, with our knitting, our friends near and far, and to tell our loved ones that we DO love them. May 2006 be a wonderful year for everyone.
Happy New Year!! Happy 2006!
Let's knit on and on.

So glad you chose Rosarie as that was the one I voted for.
Thanks for the pleasure I got reading your blog the last year and Happy New Year to you and yours.

Happy New Year, my dear, dear friend. I don't believe in resolutions but I do believe in goals. I've got some goals for next year and one of them is to meet you in person! Hope we can make it happen.

*Strategic* narcissism. It's all in the strategy, campers. ;-) Or the process, right Margene? Happy New Year, doll.

I still have yet to get out there - hopefully for a ride this winter before the bugs come. Will you have a Utah thing for every letter? Bet you could come close.

I almost voted for Rosarie, but I was feeling bad that day. Hoo! I bought sock yarn today, from Astrid's Dutch Obsessions (sic) It was not my fault... these Socknitters are leading me astray AGAIN. Happy New Year, Margene!
