Now, are these just too cute? Don't they say SPRING in a big way? Shannon sent these darling stitch markers as a true RAOK, as I have never been to her blog, and haven't been aware of her visiting mine. Thank you for such a fun gift (and the chocolate, too!). I can't wait to bring out my own flip-flops to wear.
Also, in yesterdays mail the yarn I HAD to purchase from Judy arrived. I 'had' to have this yarn to because it was just too beautiful on her blog and it need to live with me. (Other colors are available here.) This silk and merino is such a lovely yarn and I couldn't wait to dive in. Judy dyes and spins this herself! The 'oh so lively' green, which Judy called "Pond", is knitting up beautifully into a Leaf Lace Shawl. The pink 'Peony' is for me, project undetermined. It looks so gorgeous posing with my tiny little squill flowers.
This year I'm knitting a shawl for each of my sisters as their birthdays come around. It is an idea, something that grew into a reality, after Neena stole my Charlotte’s Web. So far, Melanie has received my first Flower Basket Shawl, Leeann's has another FBS and Karen will be the recipient of this beautiful Leaf Lace. One more sister and a sister-in-law to go. I'm enjoying knitting with your yarn, Judy!!

Beautiful yarn (and socks)... I am working on my first lace shawl, and am in absolute LOVE! ...... only slightly worried about a *new* knitting obsession (at least laceweight can be stashed in *smaller* spaces).

I can't wait to see your FBS finished. It's wonderful to see the progression of a project, especially one that I began. I am so glad you are pleased!

I love those stitch markers. At first I thought that you were showing off your new summer fkip flops. It makes me wish things would warm up enough around here to wear them. And wonderful one. She had some onderful colors on her site that I cam going to need to get.

Can I have the cute stitch markers, too? :)

Ooh, both colorways are beautiful! I am in a lace kick now too. Two lace projects on the needles and two more in the pipeline. I know that I should know this, but where would I find the Leaf Lace Shawl pattern?

Those stitch markers are adorable! I'll have to keep my eyes open for those itty bitty thongs. :) That yarn you bought is dreamy too... mmmmmm.... :) (It must be a great process!)
Speaking of process, I've relearned to knit! I've done 12cm on my Weasley back so far. My tension still needs some work, but what I've got so far is perfectly reasonable, if not quite at the right gauge. ;)

What a great idea for your sisters! You might get several offers from some of us to become adopted family members. I'm coveting that papaya yarn on her website.

Those stitch markers are so cute! I LOVE them! I wish I had some. How did Shannon get your address to send them to you, if you didn't know who she was? How can I make sure she gets MY address? ;)

The stitch markers are adorable and the yarn is beautiful. I especially like the Peony; it looks wonderfully cheerful next to those flowers.

Aren't those stitch markers great? Shannon RAOK-ed me with a pair, too...they were on my needles in about five minutes flat. :)
