Thank You!!

You have all been so generous with your knitting time and talents.  Everyone who has already left a comment will be in for the drawing.
Tracy of Woolwindings, has knit 28 items for the Preemie Project, her charity of choice.  If you have knit more items than that since November 18th, please leave a comment here.  Carole and I will start awarding prizes in the next couple of days and will email the winners.  If you do not have a blog please send a picture to knituntoothers at gmail dot com or ask a friend to post pictures for you.  Winners will also be listed here.

Thank you, thank you!  Let's do it again next year.

I have finished a total of 31 hats since the 18th. They are all in a webshots album which can be seen here: http://good-times.webshots.com/album/556162298rpIedR

Added to the 52 hats I had already done, I have a grand total of 83 hats to donate to our local Salvation Army for kids and adults who need a warm head.

28?! WOW!! :D

I knit five and that's good for me. *L*

I finished up two hats: one for caps to the capital and one for the preemie project. I have pics on my blog: http://www.xanga.com/TNTknits . Thank you so much for hosting this knitalong! I've already one third of the way done with another preemie project hat. :)

28? that must be some kind of record. And I thought my 12 was pretty impressive. I hsve pics on my blog:

Thanks for hosting the KAL!

Emily

wow, it sounds like everyone has really been knitting! it's inspiring! : )

i have 22 items, mostly for the soaring eagles project, at my blog ( http://renknits.blogspot.com/2006/12/knit-unto-others.html ).

I knitted 3 hats for the Soaring Eagles Project. You can see them at the bottom of this post. http://knittedandpurled.blogspot.com/2006/11/knitting-and-reading-binge.html

More to come after I finish a few gifts, and I'm looking forward to this KAL again next year.

I am so impressed by the sheer volume of charity knitting that this KAL helped to inspire! Well done Carole and Margene! I'd love to see a grand total of what we all produced together!

Good job on 28 hats! I got my Dulaan 5 done, and I am proud of that!

Wow, totals in the 20s and 30s! That's awesome! I only completed one item, but that's better than nothing, right? I just posted it on my blog. Thanks, Carole and Margene!

Wow, very impressive, everyone! I only finished one bear. Pictures on my blog. http://mysteryhouse.typepad.com

Thank you for organizing, Margene and Carole! I hope you do this again next year.

Thank you both for hosting such an ideal KAL. Of any KAL I've ever participated in, this one has meant the most!

My completed projects & photos are at: http://miss88keys.blogspot.com/2006/12/charity-knitting-completed.html

I'm posting pictures now of my 4 hats. WOW! What impressive numbers.

Finished 1-1/2 scarves...and will finish the 1/2 scarf before they are to be mailed to the Red Scarf Project.

Now I feel like a slacker. *L*

Well done, everyone!

I agree with Kristi; this knitalong has really meant a lot to me. It has made me feel so good to think of ALL the knitters out there helping others. It's so great!
Thanks Carole and Margene for hosting. I'll definitely participate again next year.

p.s. I completed 6 scarves for the Red Scarf Project.

Do I get any bonus points for cranking out some kids during the knitalong? I made 7 preemie hats and donated them to our NICU. Thanks for putting together this knitalong and I'll plan on next year!

I agree - 20 + hats is very inspiring!! Just 4-1/2 hats here, pics on my blog. Glad to be part of it though, and looking forward to next year :)

Wow! I felt very accomplished with 2 pairs of mittens and a hat. Now I feel like a total slacker. I still feel good though because there will be some warm and stylish hands in Dulaan.

I second hilary - I feel like a slacker, but I did get five sets of mittens done and a scarf finished.

Me... not so much! I did manage to get 2 hats, 2 scarves and 2 pair of fingerless mitts done. One hat is for a chemo recipient, the scarves will be going to the Red Scarf Project, and the rest, along with a few things already made to the local family service agency through a collection of handmade items for teens my local fiber guild is taking up.

And a slacker? No, I worked too hard at my three jobs-for-pay the past two weeks to qualify; thanks for setting this up, Carole and Margene, as I do stop all my other knitting during these two weeks in order to participate!

I finished a pair of booties and two hats during KUO to add to my package going to the Preemie Project. You can see it all on my blog --

I really enjoyed participating in KUO. Put me in the slow knitter category: I got 4 hats done. One photo and a link to two more is at http://woolybuns.typepad.com/woolybuns/2006/12/another_delight.html
I somehow managed not to get a photo of one of the hats before donating it.

I knit two scarves! http://www.katwithak.com/archives/000559.html and http://www.katwithak.com/archives/000552.html The second one was posted this morning, but I promise I finished it last night (the 2nd). :-)
